you need to setup your mysql, check your configs also probably other things you'll need to also do. If you read around you might find some nice guides on the problems you have, or your questions may have already been answered somewhere on the forums.

Those requirement's and the password help keep leaches / bots / randoms from profiting off the server as easily. Almost ALL releases now have a password if released by staff, which are the only downloads worth a damn half the time. Work for it, or don't bitch about it
