If its just some friends just have them download the cache manually and make sure the game is pulling from that specific location

Client.java on client change to 127.0.0.1 and run server (should already be set to local)

PI was such an insane base between spaghetti code and some good; depending who worked on it lol

This would be really good for pk servers or i guess even eco to get people in the wild as long as they dont risk much/not farmable
