- Getting started with RSPS
Hello! Before anyone asks, I have used the search bar and I’m sure there’s an answer hiding somewhere for what I’m asking. I recently found interest in starting an RSPS, but not exactly sure where to start. This includes tools required, sources without dead links, and etc. I’m asking from an absolute beginners standpoint to get something running where it can be edited from there. one of the questions I have is the server, client and cache files. Sometimes when I download a server there is no run.bat or compile.bat, or if they are and I edit the path to the recent JDK version it doesn’t work and always throws some kind of errors. Other times, there are neither located in the folder and I’m at a loss on how to run the server files. I recently ran into the IDE projects like Eclipse, but haven’t used them yet. Am I correct in assuming that the IDE would be used to start the server instead of a .bat? I know I sound like a complete noob, and that’s because I am. If anyone is interested in helping a guy out, please add my discord: .huntley- RuneRogue, Runelite 117 hd - HUGE RELEASE based from xeros
