Helllooooo Runesuite!

So, This is one site I've never known about, but i'm an old fashion Coder/developer (old school development from back when servers were released)

so im looking to get back into it, looking for a source/client to play around with just to get back in the game again, and hopefully in the future release a server I can actually call my own!

Any advice on what good bases to work with is welcome!
