Victor 1
Hello RuneSuite, I'm gonna try to build a custom server from a clean RS2 source, just to develop my Java skills. The problem is, I don't know what source to use. I was thinking of using Necrotic, but I heard that was full of bugs. Can anyone please recommend me a good source to start? Any source is full of bugs, necrotic is a fine 317/RS2 source that hardcoded loads some OSRS data. If you want true RS2 you might wanna look into 5xx or 6xx revisions

Make your own topic. After using Google or resources on the site. If you're actually interested in developing your Java skills doing so with RSPS source is not the way to go. You'll learn bad habits and you'll come out of it knowing nothing about creating standalone applications. It's much better to go from Java to RSPS. Take a Udemy course or fine some free stuff on YouTube to get the basics down if you don't want to spend money on an actual class. If you learn this way you're going to be super confused when you get introduced to actual Java development.
