[ADMIN=Introduction]Lunar isle is an eco server loading 118 osrs data. I worked on this server for a few months, adding in a lot and fixing some things. I used Vencillio as a base and hosted it for around 2 months and peaked at around 20 members without much advertising and no paid advertising. Could have done better easily if i had more time to put into it but i was doing everything myself and didnt have time to be online every day like expectations seem to be. In the client find the ip and change it to yours. Turn localhost to true, and id recommend learning with eclipse. Imo: vencillio is a hard base to start off with. But GL!

Not really, but if you're really concerned about ddosers, then i'd recommend getting a VPS that offers that protection.

you don't "add an obfuscator" -- you obfuscate the compiled jar so that others can't deob it. And it's still very easy to manipulate ob'd clients. (i'm not sure why any server would release a deobbed client to their playerbase -- clearly don't deserve to run a server)
