So I'm a developer returning to RSPS as it has come a long way from PI'S and 317's with the likes of DS ect. So I'll be using this forum to showcase, make tutorials and to eventually develop my own custom based server. So I'll be here long-term and If anyone needs any help, send me a msg.

Soo hey everyone. Usually my gamer tag is Browolf, so I guess i will go with that. Full time DevOps Engineer already for a few years in a global tech leader company. Since i have been playing runescape on and off since classic (when i was a wee kid and didn't understand anything), i have recently been thinking about building a private RS3 server and host it publicly. I got some great ideas regarding what to do with the server and how it's gonna look like. So i kinda joined here to find out more about rs3ps and also to find a quite recent source. I don't really care about making bank, but having the hosting costs reduced to 0 would be nice.

I am new to RSPS making. I dont really know where to start. Everytime i bring a client and source into eclipse there are all kinds of errors and it doesnt run. what should i do. I would love a clean blank slate client and server to start with.

Hey Everybody! My name is Jared but in-game I go by either Dom or SnipeDom. I started playing RSPS back in 2011, RoxoScape. I immediately realized it was a custom RSPS, and it sparked my interest into making my own. I've been a part of some servers as a GFX Artist but not with much else, other than in game admin controls. Over the years I've downloaded some sources & clients, messed around with some code just barely but never really knew how to get into it, so I'd stop and eventually try starting up again. I started with the rsps community when I joined little known private servers such as godzhell, pickup-pk317(pmod/admin), and boxrune 562. I started to get interested in creating my own server so I originally joined the rune-server community and learned a ton. Hi all, Being forced to post my introduction lol, anyways, I'm a FS Web Dev (Node/.NET) from the U.K. and used to play Runescape up until a couple years ago. Recently had a dabble in some servers as I did when I were younger and just looking at some of the infrastructure involved. I'm currently looking for the exact packet structure of the login procedure (i.e., other than telling me x,y,z are RSA (& Sess keys ISAAC) seeded encrypted when some clients have it enabled and others don't lol). That's it I guess, oh I also run a discord server where we mentor / guide each other in Web Dev / Embedded systems / Native etc. Thanks!
