after updating to jdk 11, errors in the client have been resolved. there are still 100+ errors on the source.

haven't updated jdk in ages lol.

i have jdk 1.8.0_151.

got this gradle error: upon importing the client: got a bunch of errors within the client and source even though i have both the kotlin and gradle plugins.
