If you’ve been grinding Breaches in Path of Exile 2, you might have run into a really frustrating issue: you finally collect a full stack of 300 Breach Splinters, but they just sit there in your stash doing absolutely nothing.

In PoE 2, a full stack of 300 splinters is supposed to automatically combine into a Revelatory Wombgift, which you then take to the Genesis Tree to create your Breachstone. However, the game’s automation gets a bit lazy if those splinters are sitting tucked away inside your Stash or Currency tabs. They will just get stuck at a 300/300 count.

Luckily, you don't have to wait for a patch. There is a quick manual reset trick you can do right from your inventory to force them to combine. Here is exactly how to do it, along with what to do with the Wombgift once you have it.

How to Force Your Splinters to Combine

If your splinters are stuck in your stash, pick up the stack and follow these three quick steps:

  1. Move the stack: Take the full stack of 300

out of your Stash or Currency tab and place them directly into your character's main inventory.
  2. Unstack a single splinter: Hold down the Shift key and click on the stack to split it. Separate just one individual splinter from the group and place it into an empty inventory slot. You should now see one stack of 299 splinters and one single splinter sitting by itself.

  3. Restack them: Pick up that single splinter and drop it right back onto the stack of 299.

The moment the count hits 300 inside your personal inventory, the game registers it and the entire stack will instantly transform into a Revelatory Wombgift.

Turning the Wombgift into a Breachstone

Now that you have your Revelatory Wombgift, you are ready for the next step of the endgame loop. You can't run this item directly; you need to take it to the Genesis Tree to "birth" your actual Breachstone.

First, travel to the Genesis Tree location, which you can find near the lower section of the Monastery of the Keepers area. Once you are there, open up the Breachstone Womb interface at the tree, place your Wombgift inside, and let the process finish to receive your Breachstone.

With the birthed Breachstone in your inventory, you are all set to explore the Atlas. Keep it on you as you run your maps—you will randomly encounter Breach Strongholds or specialized Atlas nodes where you can activate the stone to finally reveal and enter the Breach Zones for that sweet endgame loot.
