Hello everyone, 
 
As you all know, we've been working day and night to get RuneLite out to you. As many have you have seen on @@Lowkey's streams, we're very close to release, and we're super excited to finally be tying up the last few knots and bringing this thing home. In the meantime, we've been working on some requested bug fixes so that the server does not go without updates, and we've included some cool updates from OSRS recently (such as the Tangleroot pet morphs) and some updates we've wanted to implement for awhile (such as the ability to turn on a Nightmare loot bonus) and a bunch of QoL and bug fixes that were necessary. We also got around to updating the client login screen to match our new web design :)

  • Bug fixes:
    • General Graardor can no longer be safespotted in certain situations.
    • Fixed a bug (hopefully) where players would sometimes get stuck resetting a hunter trap.
    • Fixed a bug where changing to a hasta/spear from an aggressive/accurate attack style would cause you get to only attack/strength/defence experience instead of the appropriate (controlled or defensive) experience.
      • This was also fixed with the appropriate attack styles for Halberds.
    • The Ardougne max cape teleports now teleport you to the proper destination, instead of triggering the max cape teleport interface.
    • Fixed an issue where players could spam create unfinished potions.
    • Auto-cast staves will no longer toggle auto-retaliate when selecting the defensive casting mode.
    • Players can now pickpocket paladins in West ardougne to complete the achievement.
    • Kree'arra and the Armadyl GWD minions will now look for a new target if they cannot reach their previous target.
    • The spirit tree patches in Etceteria and Brimhaven now work properly again.
    • Fixed a graphical bug with the black robe top item.
    • Fixed a bug where you would receive a notification of extra slayer points when you didn't receive any.
    • Trying to load zulrah's scales into an uncharged toxic staff of the dead will now convert it to the regular version if it's the player already has max scales.
    • Fixed an issue with cannon double hit spots not being the south-west tile of an NPC.
    • Players can now cook food on cooking range objects.
    • Fixed a bug where players could complete the "Tan 25 black dragonhides at the crafting guild" achievement from anywhere.
    • The dragonstone amulet will now be equipped to the correct equipment slot.
    • Vitreous Warped Jelly no longer drops ensouled blood veld heads.
    • Mithril (t) and (g) can no longer be worn with 1 defence.
    • Snape grass will now fully grow into a harvestable form, instead of having the "inspect" option when it was ready to harvest.
    • A Corporeal beast safe-spot method has been patched.
    • Daily tasks streaks now have a bit more lenience, meaning you have an extra 2 hours to finish your tasks and still keep your streak after the initial 24 hours are up.
    • Magic attacks can no longer be used on Zalcano.
    • Filling buckets with sand then teleporting will now stop your character from filling buckets.
    • Completing a TzKal-Zuk task will now provide 101,890 base slayer experience.
    • Completing a TzTok-Jad task will now provide 25,250 base slayer experience.
    • Fixed a force-teleport bug that had to do with the Easter Event, but may have  applied to other future content as well.
      • Thanks to @ for reporting this bug!
    • A bug which caused your bank to be invisible if you collapsed many tabs very quickly should now be fixed.
    • Setting up or dismantling bird snares will now use the correct animation.
    • The proper box trap setting up/dismantling animation is now used, which will prevent your player from being "locked" to one tile while setting up.
    • Gods blessing + Castle wars changes:
      • Obtaining Gods blessing through Castle Wars has been capped to a maximum of 2 hours of blessing at any given time.
        • For example:
          • If you have 3 hours of Gods blessing currently, completing a Castle wars game will not give you any extra blessing.
          • If you have 1 hour and 55 minutes of blessing, you will be bumped up to exactly 2 hours.
    • A daily task to complete 3 Hard Slayer tasks was actually only counting up to 2 and has been fixed.
    • Removed a few drops from yell announcements:
      • Zamorak brew (4)
      • Bracelet of Ethereum
      • Ancient staff
      • Twisted horns
    • Vial of blood & Magic fang can no longer be "equipped".
    • Crafting birdhouses and running out of logs will no longer tell you that you have run out of "Jades".
    • Fixed a bug which caused HCIM to lose their Hardcore status if they died at the exact moment the timer ran out inside the Gauntlet.
  • Quality of life:
    • Added the STASH unit in the warriors guild.
      • Players can store a dragon battle-axe, avernic or dragon defender, and any slayer helmet.
        • The same items that went in will be withdrawn.
    • Added the STASH unit for flared trousers next to the Axe hut in the wilderness.
    • Updated the leaf-bladed battleaxe slash bonus to be 72 instead of 50.
    • Prayers can now store spirit seeds in their seed box.
    • Adjusted the minimum distance between cannons to be 8 tiles instead of 10.
    • Logging in following a server restart should now be a bit smoother, without as long of a delay to get back into the game.
    • The Gauntlet demi-bosses are now guaranteed to drop a weapon frame each kill.
    • Added "Valuable drop" notifications for valuable/rare drops.
    • Players can now see how many duels they've won/lost after each win/loss in the duel arena.
    • Master Farmer + Seed Bag QoL:
      • Any seeds you steal from a Master Farmer will now automatically go into your Seed Box if you have one in your Inventory.
        • Any seeds that you receive from a Stone chest will also go into your Seed box.
    • Safe cracking + Gem Bag QoL:
      • Any gems stolen from a wall safe will now automatically go into your Gem Bag if you have one in your inventory.
    • The monster killcount list will now show bosses first in alphabetical order, and then any other NPCs by killcount in descending order.
  • Graceful recoloring price changes:
    • The cost of recoloring graceful pieces has been reduced as follows:
      • Hood: 24 marks of grace (previously 32)
      • Cape: 28 marks of grace (previously 36)
      • Top: 36 marks of grace (previously 50)
      • Legs: 36 marks of grace (previously 52)
      • Gloves: 24 marks of grace (previously 28)
      • Boots: 24 marks of grace (previously 36)
  • Login screen update:
    • Our login screen wallpaper and logo have been updated to match the new website theme!
  • Nightmare changes:
    • Nightmare bonus has been added!
      • Event managers/Admins can now toggle a bonus for the Nightmare of Ashihama's loot, which will allow for more variety during weekend events.
        • This boosts all rare loot drops by up to 20%, including the Nightmare pet.
    • Drop booster effect:
      • Previously, drop boosters only affected your chance at non-unique drops that could be obtained by multiple players (Nightmare pet, jar and Elite clue).
        • As of this update, boosters will also make you more likely to obtain the unique drops (Nightmare staff, orbs and Inquisitor set).
        • If the booster increased the chance of your receiving that rare item, you will receive a message notifying you in the chatbox (similar to other loot affected by the booster).
  • Aggression fix:
    • To prevent players from AFK training indefinitely, we've made a change to the aggression mechanic:
      • Previously, if you lost aggression from being AFK, clicking anywhere on the screen would regain aggression (eg. Clicking to eat a lobster).
        • This has changed to require that you move around and take a few steps to reset aggro, so that you must move and cannot stay in the same spot (similar to OSRS).
  • Amrod in Prifddinas can now exchange your crystal seeds for shards!
    • Speak to Amrod in the bar in North-west Prifddinas to exchange your seeds at the following rates:
      • Crystal weapon seed - 10 shards
      • Crystal tool seed - 100 shards
      • Enhanced crystal teleport seed - 150 shards
      • Crystal armour seed - 250 shards
  • Group Ironman Integrity Changes:
    • The # of times a player can join a new group has been reduced from 5 to 3.
      • We feel the 3 transfers is more than fair throughout a GIM account's lifetime, and 5 was a bit too generous (considering EIM have 2 transfers).
      • NOTE: Players who had a GIM account registered before April 1st, 2020, will be grandfathered in and will still have the ability to transfer a total of 5 times. Any new accounts created after April 1st will have the reduced limit.
    • There is now a 25-day cool down period after joining a new GIM group before you can leave and join another.
      • We believe that joining a new group should be a big, semi-permanent decision, and if you are not willing to stay on the team for at least 25 days then you should not join in the first place.
  • Tangleroot morphs:
    • The Tangleroot pet can now morph into five different forms for all your fashionscape needs. To change your pet’s looks, you’ll need to give it one of the following seeds:
      • Crystal acorn
      • Dragonfruit tree seed
      • Guam seed
      • White lily seed
      • Redwood tree seed
    • To change your pet back to the normal look, you can use an Acorn seed on it.
  • Inquisitor armour set effect:
    • The Inquisitor’s Armour from The Nightmare of Ashihama boss has been given a set effect!
      • From now on, each equipped piece from the set will boost both damage and accuracy by 0.5% while you are using the crush attack style. 
      • If all three pieces are equipped, you’ll get an additional 1% boost, for a total of 2.5%.
    • This set affect applies to both PvP and PvM situations.
  • Blade of Saeldor (c):
    • Players can now create the Blade of Saeldor (c) at the singing gauntlet:
      • Creating it requires a Blade of Saeldor (inactive), 1000 crystal shards, and 82 smithing/crafting.
        • At any time, players can click “uncharge” to revert the blade back to the inactive variant, but the 1000 crystal shards will not be returned.
        • The item is essentially equivalent to the normal Blade of Saeldor, but does not consume any charges.
  • Dismantling weapons for Ether:
    • Viggora’s Chainmace, Thammaron’s Sceptre and Craw’s Bow can now be converted into 7,500 revenant ether apiece. To do so, right-click the weapon in your Inventory and select the ‘Dismantle’ option.
      • This action is irreversible, and you will be presented with a confirmation dialogue before doing so.
      • If you had any charges in your weapon before dismantling it, those charges will be added to the total ether received for dismantling.
  • Farming changes:
    • Crystal tree:
      • Players can now plant and grow the crystal tree in Prifddinas.
        • Planting the tree will require players with at least 74 Farming to plant a crystal acorn in the crystal tree patch.
          • The patch takes ~2 hours to grow, and provides 126 base experience for planting the seed, and 13,240 base experience for checking the health of the tree once it’s grown.
            • Harvesting the tree will require an axe, and will provide players with 8-16 crystal shards from doing so.
    • The following patches now have tool leprechauns:
      • Bush Patch South of Ardougne 
      • Bush Patch West of the Champion's Guild 
      • Fruit Tree Patch North of Brimhaven 
      • Fruit Tree Patch in Lletya 
      • Tree Patch near Varrock Palace 
      • Spirit Tree Patch near Hosidius 
      • Spirit Tree Patch north of Brimhaven 
      • Cactus Patch in Al Kharid 
      • Calquat Patch north of Tai Bwo Wannai
      • Spirit tree patch near Miscellania
    • The tree gnome stronghold tree patch now works properly.
  • Combat (PvP) changes:
    • Magic will now be slightly more accurate across the board, due to repeated reports of it being too inaccurate compared to other combat styles.
    • The following special attacks have had their accuracy increased to match OSRS (slightly lower than where the should have been):
      • All godswords
      • Armadyl crossbow
      • Barrelchest anchor
  • Store updates:
    • Mystery box additions:
      • Cat ears and Hell cat ears (both tradable) have been added to the following Mystery boxes at the specified rarities:
        • Regular: Rare loot
        • Super: Regular loot
        • Cosmetic: Regular loot
  • Discord:
    • We've updated our Discord server icon to match the new logo. Big thanks to @ for animating it!
