Well this one took a while. Too many dialogue changes for Trufitus throughout the quest. This one was the most time consuming quest I've written so far, taking over 7 accounts (2 of which were banned due to something I had that triggered bot detection). I started development on Shilo Village in 2018, and took a break about 75% of the way through (protip: if you write a quest, don't take a long ass break, you'll forget so many things and you're almost better off re-writing it than revisiting it). Hello,Today I'm showing off what I've been working on for the larger part of the past week, the Olm boss fight from the recently released Raids on OSRS. I've tried to match the mechanics as closely as possible, and I'm quite happy with the outcome(as are the testers who have recently participated in our beta/live server test!). Overall, I'd say it's about 90% similar to OSRS, only missing the head turning(turns left and right) and the fire wall special attack, both of which may be added in the near future, but I will be focusing on other aspects of Raids for the time being and will re-evaluate whether it is a priority once I'm closer to completing the rest of the dungeon.…

Hello, Years ago i created bots. The bots were built on a server from around 2011. Because i decided to work on a base from all those years ago, i was faced with horrific code, dupes and all kinds of problems. Not only was the server not stable at all, but my bot code wasn't particularly optimized either. 100% cpu usage after 30 minutes of run-time and the server would simply lag itself to death if i dared to run 200 bots. I worked on the base for a few months and then scrapped all my bot code and started again. This is my second generation of rsps bots. This is in very early development for a project I'm working on, it's also important to note that the sudden shift to black towards the end is a bug that's only apparent in the Cycle Test for video purposes, the video is sped up by x16. So I thought it would be cool to make an NPC actually think and respond back to a player. Decided to make it happen lol. It uses an AI API to generate a HTTP response. Can convert to other 317 sources prolly. Each player can have their own convo with the AI, the history is unique to them. Can also be used as a chat system for an NPC.. Here I simple enabled a chat response for any NPC within 1 square of the player. Obviously this is dumb, it's just a demo

Hello,You may have seen my previous show-off thread which showcased the Olm fight which took a considerable amount of time! Olm alone took about half of the time it has taken me to complete Raids. Of course, it isn't 100% accurate to OSRS as we have left out certain skilling components and other trivial things. With that being said, we have most of the bosses/rooms functioning and it feels quite similar! This was released on Alora 3 days ago, and so far it has went very well! We've got many raids parties going on and people are loving it. Even if you aren't interested in Deadman Mode, you might want to try this. Items are kept on death, and a variety of other factors benefit PvM and stat leveling.
